In the queue: liner notes for Scott Morgan box set Three Chords and a Cloud of Dust for Easy Action Records; Q&A with Fort Worth bluesman James Hinkle and drummer Lucas White on their recent sojourn in Europe for the Dallas Observer; helping legendary jazz drummer/composer/bandleader Ronald Shannon Jackson write his memoirs.
ADDENDUM: Due to pressing priorities at home, and Easy Action's release date (shooting for late October), I'm having to bow out of the Scott Morgan project. Instead, my buddy Geoff Ginsberg will be doing the liner notes. No one knows the story better, and his impressive archive will form a substantial part of the set's content, so I'm resting assured that it's going to be a great set.
