During my high school years at North Side, we went to the 28th Street (?) Lisa's at least once a week. I remember it as being the most bland food ever. No salt, no pepper, no nothing! But the portions were huge and the $2-$3 prices were awesome for a bunch of broke high school kids. Thanks for the flashback!

Perhaps you should review our other stand-bys: River Oaks Griff's Hamburgers, Braum's at University and White Settlement, Ol' South (of course), and what used to be called "the 21," the gas station down the street from NSHS.

Kidding. Though Griff's was the only place we could smoke indoors - always went there when it was raining.
