a joe strummer signature telecaster? puh-leeze. if you can't beat it to shit and cover it with stickers yourself, you shouldn't pay big buxxx to have fender do it for you.

I saw that too and I have to admit my first thought was -- "Cool!" My second thoght was, "You can't go any FARTHER away from the punk, DIY ethic than this." Pay some big company big money to provide you with some authenticity.
