yeah, last summer when my mom was visiting here from new jersey, she said it was actually hotter at home than it was in tejas. global warming chickens coming home to roost or a cycle too big for us to see coming around again? _you_ decide!!!

Yesterday and last nite were cool ... er uhh cold .... changes the whole state of mind. Sounds like you guys had a great nite.

I ventured over to central market to buy a Struessel Cherry Pie, popped into Border's for coffee and some geeky reading and than promptly came home and made pasta with red sauce (all fresh ingredients).

When it snows (not ice or sleet) I always put on Bach solo violin sonatas. Snow is the absolute best material for the absortion of sound and there is something really great about hearing Bach in that kind of isolation.

Sorry, kinda a long one!

snow / bach: i first learned to appreciate bach after hearing glenn gould on the soundtrack to "slaughterhouse-five."

was hoping for another snowy day like the one a coupla yrs ago where kat and i wound up kicking around the museum district taking pics and a coworker's husband actually proposed to her.

looks like the ice is melting now so i gotta haul ass to work.
